He sculpted Espress’s interface with a sleek, modern design system, defining crisp typography, a cohesive color palette, and intuitive iconography to enhance usability. Design plays a crucial role in shaping perceptions and creating memorable experiences, a well-crafted design not only communicates ideas effectively but also evokes emotions, captures attention, and builds trust. From striking visuals to thoughtful layouts, every element contributes to telling a unique story, evident in the subscription flow’s minimalist checkout with visual delivery cues and the Home screen’s balance of education and action. Erik iterated on these elements, refining navigation and micro-interactions to ensure every touchpoint felt seamless, drawing from his e-commerce UI expertise.
